22 FOR 22 MARATHON 11/08/2025
The "22 for 22" initiative holds significant importance within our veteran community, symbolizing the 22 United States Soldiers and Veterans who tragically lose their lives to suicide daily worldwide. On the 9th of November, we will embark on a 22-kilometer hike around Sierra Vista, making 22 stops with challenges themed around the number 22. This event aims to express solidarity with those battling suicidal ideation.
During each stop, we will honor a fallen soldier by carrying their story with us. At designated crosswalks, we will pause to educate participants on recognizing signs of suicide and provide information on seeking help when facing personal struggles.
Join us in our mission to combat suicide within our community and make a meaningful impact!

These guys will share their stories of struggle and perseverance through high energy Hip-Hop and Poetic Lyrics. Then our guest speaker Brian (Head) Welch will share his story. His documentary Loud Krazy Love has been shared all over the world. Be ready to be moved when he tells you about his incredible journey through drugs, Rock’n’Roll only to be called by God.
